Exonx is pleased to announce the launch of its Proficiency Testing (PT) services covering EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility), electrical and environmental testing, specifically targeted at electrical and electronic products.
The service is intended for testing laboratories, measurement centers and organizations involved in compliance assessment, qualification and performance evaluation of electrical and electronic equipment.
Purpose of Proficiency Testing
Proficiency Testing is a key tool to:
- assess and demonstrate laboratory technical competence
- support ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation requirements
- objectively compare test results
- improve measurement reliability for electrical and electronic products
Application fields
Depending on the specific scheme, Exonx Proficiency Tests may include:
- EMC testing (emissions and immunity)
- Electrical testing
- Environmental testing (e.g. temperature, humidity, climatic conditions)
All schemes are designed to reflect realistic test conditions representative of product testing activities.
Reports and result evaluation
Each participant receives:
- a confidential individual report
- statistical performance indicators (e.g. z-scores)
- anonymous comparison with other participants
At the end of each scheme, a final summary report is issued.
